The Norwegian Child Protective Services - Barnevernet

I am not born in Norway, but I have been living in Norway for the last 15 years. I speak the language fluently and I am fully adapted to my life in Norway. I work in the social-welfare system.

I am tired of the injustices committed daily by this system. I am tired of the holes in the regulations and that the laws are not applied properly.

This is NOT the paradise people outside the country believe it is.

Norway has ranked as the best country to live in for several years. As the best country to be a parent. As the best place in the world to be a child and grow up. This is not true for thousands of families suffering injustice and abuse by Barnevernet - The Norwegian Child Protective Services.

In this blog I will present these abuses. I will translate articles to english and cite the sources. I will also talk about other fails of the system, but my main concern are the children, and so it will be the main subject in my posts.

This is a reality that NEEDS to be known. If norwegian courts and norwegian people aren't doing enough for this CPS to get reviewed, then international eyes and human rights courts need to look at this.
